By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.<\/p><hr data-start=\"846\" data-end=\"849\" \/><p data-section-id=\"1d42lyb\" data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"876\">1. <strong>Platform Description<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"1092\">Qathiya is a <strong data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"942\">lawyer directory and legal information platform<\/strong> designed to help individuals and organizations discover and review profiles of licensed legal professionals across different areas of legal practice.<\/p><p data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1223\">The Platform provides informational listings of lawyers and law firms to facilitate public access to professional legal profiles.<\/p><p data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1304\">Qathiya does not provide legal representation, legal services, or legal advice.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1309\" \/><p data-section-id=\"mhl6jp\" data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1331\">2. <strong>No Legal Advice<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1413\">The information provided on the Platform is for <strong data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1412\">informational purposes only<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1509\">Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice, legal consultation, or legal representation.<\/p><p data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1634\">Qathiya does not evaluate individual legal matters, provide legal opinions, or apply legal rules to specific circumstances.<\/p><p data-start=\"1636\" data-end=\"1758\">If you require legal advice regarding a particular issue, you should consult a <strong data-start=\"1715\" data-end=\"1757\">licensed attorney in your jurisdiction<\/strong>.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1760\" data-end=\"1763\" \/><p data-section-id=\"16bnygx\" data-start=\"1765\" data-end=\"1786\">3. <strong>Lawyer Directory<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1788\" data-end=\"1885\">The lawyer directory is intended to help visitors identify licensed lawyers practicing in Kuwait.<\/p><p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2015\">All information displayed on lawyer profiles is provided by the lawyers themselves or collected during the verification process.<\/p><p data-start=\"2017\" data-end=\"2117\">Qathiya does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the services of any lawyer listed on the Platform.<\/p><p data-start=\"2119\" data-end=\"2214\">Users are responsible for conducting their own independent evaluation before hiring any lawyer.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2216\" data-end=\"2219\" \/><p data-section-id=\"1sld2t5\" data-start=\"2221\" data-end=\"2257\">4. <strong>Lawyer Listing and Verification<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2259\" data-end=\"2308\">Lawyers cannot register directly on the Platform.<\/p><p data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2398\">Lawyer profiles are created and managed by the Company following a verification process.<\/p><p data-start=\"2400\" data-end=\"2444\">To be listed in the directory, lawyers must:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2446\" data-end=\"2628\"><li data-section-id=\"1sgce0\" data-start=\"2446\" data-end=\"2487\"><p data-start=\"2448\" data-end=\"2487\">be licensed to practice law in Kuwait<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"18a701t\" data-start=\"2488\" data-end=\"2537\"><p data-start=\"2490\" data-end=\"2537\">be registered with the Kuwait Bar Association<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"10wqd7q\" data-start=\"2538\" data-end=\"2628\"><p data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2628\">provide valid identification documentation, including civil identification or passport<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2630\" data-end=\"2750\">The Company reserves the right to verify professional credentials and may request additional information when necessary.<\/p><p data-start=\"2752\" data-end=\"2835\">The Company may refuse, remove, or suspend a lawyer listing at its sole discretion.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2837\" data-end=\"2840\" \/><p data-section-id=\"94ixcc\" data-start=\"2842\" data-end=\"2864\">5. <strong>Law Firm Profiles<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2866\" data-end=\"2967\">The Platform may include <strong data-start=\"2891\" data-end=\"2912\">law firm profiles<\/strong>, which are represented as groups within the directory.<\/p><p data-start=\"2969\" data-end=\"3047\">Lawyers may be associated with one or more law firm profiles where applicable.<\/p><p data-start=\"3049\" data-end=\"3165\">Law firm information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute endorsement by the Company.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3167\" data-end=\"3170\" \/><p data-section-id=\"susfy7\" data-start=\"3172\" data-end=\"3204\">6. <strong>Visitor Use of the Platform<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"3206\" data-end=\"3295\">Visitors may browse the directory and review lawyer profiles without creating an account.<\/p><p data-start=\"3297\" data-end=\"3372\">Access to the directory is provided as a <strong data-start=\"3338\" data-end=\"3371\">public informational resource<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"3374\" data-end=\"3429\">Visitors agree to use the Platform lawfully and not to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3431\" data-end=\"3597\"><li data-section-id=\"10hd3u\" data-start=\"3431\" data-end=\"3454\"><p data-start=\"3433\" data-end=\"3454\">misuse the Platform<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"7wpuru\" data-start=\"3455\" data-end=\"3505\"><p data-start=\"3457\" data-end=\"3505\">attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"vmmsl5\" data-start=\"3506\" data-end=\"3554\"><p data-start=\"3508\" data-end=\"3554\">interfere with the operation of the Platform<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"ooh0ud\" data-start=\"3555\" data-end=\"3597\"><p data-start=\"3557\" data-end=\"3597\">use the Platform for unlawful purposes<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3599\" data-end=\"3602\" \/><p data-section-id=\"x7xn7i\" data-start=\"3604\" data-end=\"3634\">7. <strong>Subscription Arrangements<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"3636\" data-end=\"3746\">Qathiya may offer subscription arrangements to lawyers who wish to be listed or featured within the directory.<\/p><p data-start=\"3748\" data-end=\"3857\">Subscription arrangements are managed directly by the Company and are <strong data-start=\"3818\" data-end=\"3856\">not processed through the Platform<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"3859\" data-end=\"3968\">Details regarding subscription options may be provided directly by the Company during the onboarding process.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"3973\" \/><p data-section-id=\"1bvfc2y\" data-start=\"3975\" data-end=\"4001\">8. <strong>Intellectual Property<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"4003\" data-end=\"4204\">All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and trademarks, is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.<\/p><p data-start=\"4206\" data-end=\"4351\">You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display any content from the Platform without the prior written permission of the Company.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4353\" data-end=\"4356\" \/><p data-section-id=\"1yhft8x\" data-start=\"4358\" data-end=\"4388\">9. <strong>Disclaimer of Warranties<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"4390\" data-end=\"4458\">The Platform is provided on an <strong data-start=\"4421\" data-end=\"4451\">\u201cas is\u201d and \u201cas available\u201d<\/strong> basis.<\/p><p data-start=\"4460\" data-end=\"4521\">The Company makes no warranties or representations regarding:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4523\" data-end=\"4719\"><li data-section-id=\"165j7se\" data-start=\"4523\" data-end=\"4570\"><p data-start=\"4525\" data-end=\"4570\">the accuracy of information on the Platform<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"khhafu\" data-start=\"4571\" data-end=\"4634\"><p data-start=\"4573\" data-end=\"4634\">the availability or uninterrupted operation of the Platform<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"bwsuqq\" data-start=\"4635\" data-end=\"4719\"><p data-start=\"4637\" data-end=\"4719\">the qualifications, competence, or services of any lawyer listed on the Platform<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4721\" data-end=\"4818\">To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4820\" data-end=\"4823\" \/><p data-section-id=\"eydn72\" data-start=\"4825\" data-end=\"4854\">10.<strong> Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"4856\" data-end=\"4996\">To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform.<\/p><p data-start=\"4998\" data-end=\"5035\">This includes, but is not limited to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"5037\" data-end=\"5187\"><li data-section-id=\"hbdvsa\" data-start=\"5037\" data-end=\"5067\"><p data-start=\"5039\" data-end=\"5067\">direct or indirect damages<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"1t2ne2y\" data-start=\"5068\" data-end=\"5095\"><p data-start=\"5070\" data-end=\"5095\">loss of data or profits<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"m30moe\" data-start=\"5096\" data-end=\"5148\"><p data-start=\"5098\" data-end=\"5148\">reliance on information provided on the Platform<\/p><\/li><li data-section-id=\"10drmtx\" data-start=\"5149\" data-end=\"5187\"><p data-start=\"5151\" data-end=\"5187\">disputes between users and lawyers<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"5189\" data-end=\"5272\">Any interaction between users and lawyers occurs <strong data-start=\"5238\" data-end=\"5271\">independently of the Platform<\/strong>.<\/p><hr data-start=\"5274\" data-end=\"5277\" \/><p data-section-id=\"d1tfkv\" data-start=\"5279\" data-end=\"5296\">11. <strong>Termination<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"5298\" data-end=\"5473\">The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform or remove any lawyer listing at any time and for any reason, including violations of these Terms.<\/p><hr data-start=\"5475\" data-end=\"5478\" \/><p data-section-id=\"15l0bbr\" data-start=\"5480\" data-end=\"5499\">12. <strong>Governing Law<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"5501\" data-end=\"5600\">These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the <strong data-start=\"5568\" data-end=\"5599\">laws of the State of Kuwait<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"5602\" data-end=\"5725\">Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall fall under the <strong data-start=\"5674\" data-end=\"5724\">exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait<\/strong>.<\/p><hr data-start=\"5727\" data-end=\"5730\" \/><p data-section-id=\"1dbug07\" data-start=\"5732\" data-end=\"5758\">13. <strong>Changes to the Terms<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"5760\" data-end=\"5817\">The Company may update or revise these Terms at any time.<\/p><p data-start=\"5819\" data-end=\"5970\">Updated Terms will be published on the Platform.
